A: BLAC stands for Business Leaders Alumni Club. Founded in 2010, BLAC is a registered non-profit society that brings together the top business minds in Singapore. BLAC aims to promote management innovation and encourage continuous learning amongst business leaders. Our mission is to develop self, peers and the next generation of business leaders. Our vision is to inspire growth for business leaders by business leaders.

Q: What are some of BLAC’s club activities?

A: BLAC organises events such as business leadership forums, seminars and workshops that are open to members, and occasionally, non-members. We also facilitate networking among business leaders in Singapore through member gatherings.

Q: Who runs BLAC?

A: BLAC’s Annual General Meeting is held in March annually. Elected members are passionate business owners and leaders who volunteer their time to help with the running of BLAC – because they believe in promoting continuous learning amongst business leaders – both present and future.

Q: What makes BLAC different from other business organisations?

A: BLAC is an exclusive business leaders club for members who believe in lifelong learning as a tool for business growth and success. Members would have to be an alumnus of the Advanced Management Programme. They would also have to be individuals who are company management executives and/or business owners or leaders, or who are directly reporting to one. When you join BLAC, you join an elite group of SME leaders in Singapore.
